Tourist

This weekend I got to play tourist in my own city with both parents and friends. I've continued to add more and more to my San Diego bucket list before I leave this sunny city, making me feel like I haven't accomplished anything since I moved here eight years ago. No doubt this city is pretty expansive and restaurants I was once obsessed with aren't in my daily routine (plus, my first three years in college don't really count - I hardly left the campus!) so that might put things into perspective. Looking forward to 10 more weekends full of roller coasters, dinners, hikes and beautiful views!

pucker up

Summer is officially here, and I'm not just saying that because my birthday weekend finally kick-started the sun. Activities like fashion festivals, comics, birthday celebrations, farmer's market dates, horse races, hot dogs and heat. are all part of it This summer is definitely making up for the last with this weather, but since I've been finally sleeping at night I can't complain...thankfully we have windows in our office to sneak a peak at the gorgeous weather...that, and an ocean view.

swing swing

There are few things more exciting to me than visiting a new home store for the first time - especially one that is as chic as this one from La Jolla. There's a new one right by my house that I have been wanting to visit, hopefully if it's rainy this weekend I won't be distracted by the beach again, and head there tomorrow!

a picture wall

While my wall is still a work in progress, clearly, through my writing over the past few months I've been able to catch a few samplings . While the wall still remains bare, I have a few more ideas in mind though my goal is to pick up a few additions to complete the affect. The last few are from Pierre Deux in La Jolla and Yorkshire Pine.
